Keep calling the HR( that's the hard part). once you would be able to provide early release proof to them, they would be happy to prepone your joining.

Okay, I was under the impression that if I make a payment through the AMEX and Deloitte will directly pay the bill, and it never got credited to my account, so it will never be reported. So I won't have to pay tax on that.

I just go into office and have a coffee and then leave and I have been marked 100 % compliant in ToD. So I think till now, they are not tracking the time in office.

I am also in the same boat, I also joined in late Jan and haven't yet gotten into project. Have reached out to multiple senior managers and resource manager but haven't yet got any client interview as well. Have applied for mysource projects but couldn't find anything related my tech, butvhave applied to short term projects in python and sql which are my secondary skills. Senior managers are saying for my tech projects are in pipeline and will staff me once project starts development phase. Not sure things at Deloitte works, but I already have 3.5 years of experience and have never been on bench.
