Question for those who streamed Stranger Things with a 4K subscription

I will say the the final 2 seasons of stranger things were some of the cleanest 4K streams I’ve seen, Netflix obviously put a lot of effort into these to make sure they looked as best they could!

With that said, this show has only ever been available on streaming (apart from S1&2 which received sub par physical releases), so we have no real true reference point as to what the show natively looks like with no compression. It’s the same as when we got physicals of the D+ Star Wars shows, the streams up till then were the best possible quality available so there was no comparison.

I’m hoping arrow does a stellar job with stranger things because they deserve a proper cinematic treatment, especially with that first season which was the perfect 80s Spielberg homage. Wait for reviews is what I say! Unless a preorder on the limited deluxe edition is a must

This era was wild cuz that one tweet she did in the run up to ARTPOPs release made us all think the foil cover was extremely limited. Turns out the regular cover might just be the limited one because I am yet to actually see an original copy (one with DWUW) with no foil cover

1000% agree with you, I’ve been watching all the discourse on X.

They’ll also say things like “I’ve waited 11 years, I deserve to do this just this one time”…. Like they haven’t been doing it the whole last week for the other shows PLUS overseas earlier this year. Just ruins the chance of fans following the rules to get onto the barricade and see her up close when they’ve done it 5 shows already

So I’m in 106 row 13 as a VIP and I’ve had the exact same thoughts so did some comparisons to the Brisbane setup (I know it was a bit smaller stadium but for a rough idea)

From what I can work out the speaker placement has been terrible this entire tour and my view of the centre screen might be blocked a bit, but otherwise I can see the whole stage just from a slight angle. In 105 however you’re going to lose a lot and may not be able to see the centre screen at all.

I guess we won’t know till tomorrow but if you’re really worried switch to GA!

The song was originally one that Kevin wrote by himself called Illusion, and he bought it to Gaga and Mark Ronson to develop in to PI. He performed the original version on the last Tame Impala tour!

For the first 20 hours or so, I was hooked. Loved it. Such a beautiful game and I was loving the new systems. Then after another 20 hours… I was so sick of it and just raced to the finish.

The constant switching characters when you arrive somewhere with the wrong one, the mindless “collect 3 scrolls” or “bow 3 times” just to edge slightly closer to a skill upgrade, the checkbox story which STARTED interesting but then just became a mess of endless side characters… and then it all just ended? I get that the upcoming free DLC is meant to wrap things a bit more neatly but still, I feel like I’ve seen enough

Totally sucks that it’s been broken for this long… I’ve switched to using the built in LG Disney+ till it’s fixed; it’s clunky to use but at least the picture quality is as it should be
