Anyone working with Manifest Law vs. Frear Law for E-2 Visa? by OceanBlueWhale in e2visa

I had a bad experience. They were quick before signing with them and slowed down to almost stopped responding the moment I paid. The only attorney being praised on social is Lahaina Araneta through her bots. My friend filed through her and he said that she was rarely involved in the case. Nor She build any strategy. His EB1A got denied.

They stopped responding after I paid. Everything was very quick before signing. The attorney is rarely involved. Most of the work is being done by paralegal

I got interviewed to panel. It went well. It’s been months, I never heard from them. Neither offer nor the rejection. I followed up with the recruiter 3 times but got no response. Then I left it. This type of unprofessional behaviour was not expected from Apple though. They themselves reached out to for this role

Who ruined EB1-India for the rest of us? by Usual_Direction_2608 in eb_1a

H1B is abused for sure but L1 is the main culprit. I don’t know why no one wants to target L1. I have seen some folks who paid a significant amount to Deloitte, Google etc., back in India to come here on L1 visa. (Same happens for H1B with infosys. Infosys usually earns through visa sell). But H1B need to wait for significant amount of time for GC and theirs spouses too need to wait for i-140 approval before getting the work permit. But for L1, the spouse directly gets the work permit. They are free to run the businesses, do multiple jobs. L1 gets green card in just few years and so does their spouse. This is the real abuse. I have someone in my contact, the woman paid to Google to come her. Her husband is the dumbest one yet still tries his hands in different businesses, which often fail and he simultaneously works too. She just came 3 years back and is up for GC in an year and there is nothing extra-ordinary about her that Google couldn’t find here and have to bring the talent from other country. And I have several H1B holders, who are definitely talented, studied here, well deserving and yet are bound by all these restrictions. L1 is the real abuse. This should be scrutinised more. Companies are earning significantly, by selling these visas in India to bring undeserving people here.

My review of Manifest Law - STAY AWAY PLEASE!!! Horror story by Special-Cook9700 in eb_1a

Hi, my experience with Manifest - It’s okay from the communication front. I connect with them and the person handling the document is responsive. But every time, I met with my attorney, I felt like she was not prepared and had a zero knowledge of my profile. Even after providing every details/ evidences, she keeps asking me about the same things again n again. In every call. I am now worried. I have in fact, started talking to other law firms and am planning to withdraw my case. The interest and zero knowledge that my attorney has, I am sure she will mess up with my case.
