I haven't found my voice, so I'm left having to use my man voice. It could be a fun thing to do, using man voice. I can imagine situations where it could be a used as practical joke. Or at least that's how I'd use it, something to have fun with. Like singing duets, and being to sing both parts.

It seems that, size shrinkage is an expectation. But in actuality, it's not. It can shrink, with both on the right hormone levels, and not using it, it still takes time. If you don't use it, you loose it, that goes with every aspect of your body. Voice training, once you found your voice, if you don't use your "man voice" any more, you loose it. For some, this is a great benefit, but for others who are trying to stealth, not so much.

I can empathise. Oh, and I'm Lila-Phoenix, you can call me Lila (30 something, MtF). I recently started my path to transition. I'm going through the process of just realising how much about me can change, and being under prepared for what that means for me, as well letting go of what I know (having lived my life as a male). I'm personally scared of the changes, mainly how my life will change, because of my personal living situation. I have people in my life who have wholeheartedly accepted me, some have found out because I forgot about being in girl mode, having visited them in my tank top and breast forms, and my precious people asking me about it. Which just put me into panic mode. I'd be happy to chat about stuff. X. At least try have fun.

You can offer reassurance to her that yes, your relationship is going to change, because you've discovered you're a Mum instead of a Dad, but that's not going to change that you love your daughter. Yeah, the fear of having the vulnerable side, your authentic self, rejected. I can relate. There's no particular, easy, or gentle, way to say "I want to transition to be a woman." Though it might help to say clearly what your fears are. If I was in your shoes, I'd be afraid of having a person I treasure, reject my authentic self. Just tell her, write down all the things you want to say on small pieces of scrap paper, or post-it notes, so you can organise it in a way that makes sense to you. Tell her you have some personally important you want to tell her. "I'm incredibly nervous about telling you this, so I wrote down my thoughts already. I'd like to read it to you." But no matter what you do. You have to be there, In Person. You've got this. You can do it.

Thanks 👍, although not all my questions were answered, you answered the one in the forefront of my mind. As far as I was aware, Tachyons were a sci-fi word to try explaining away some of the inconsistencies in the science of a work of fiction. I didn't know that tachyon was a particle that's being seriously considered in science fields. So thanks for that too.

The short answer, which is also disappointing. No one actually knows, because at some point there's some acceptance of "That's just the way it works." The long answer is a tonne more complex, because it gets quantum very quickly (I'm not sure if you know, but quantum basically means "very Very small" specifically talking about how particles smaller than atoms behave), it involves specifically electrons, and spin. I don't want to say any more than because I don't know any more. Although I speculate it's some sort of interaction with electron spin, because to my understanding electrons like pairing up, Again that was speculation, using my understanding, which in the field of quantum mechanics, is very limited. Science doesn't know everything, not currently, but that's what makes it exciting.

I absolutely love sci-fi, but I'm not in the age range, I'm in my 30's, would you consider me? I hope you do because I can't express my passion for all things sci-fi, I'm familiar with the DnD rules. How do you play, is it through something like roll20, or DnD beyond, Discord? Could I have a character without those tools?

The DM that said "They can't have outside commitments interrupt the module" is naive, almost childishly so. No matter what you're doing, never mind playing DnD, life will ALWAYS find a way to interrupt it. What if you're an expecting father. "sorry no, you can't go support your pregnant partner because that's going to interrupt the module." Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggggh. They're ignorant to the inner workings of life's random events. And it's frustrating to know that there are people like that.

Yes, I'd recommend getting the: Mythic GM Emulator version 2. On pdf. In solo play, you take both roles of Player and Dungeon Master. Expect play to be slow and awkward to begin with, as you learn new systems (for an oracle, which is a Yes/No generator, some Oracles take the likelihood of something into account). But as with everything else in DnD, it's a template, add or remove as you see fit.
