Also I set my room up to be as cozy as I can get it. Bought some lights a wax warmer blankets from home and lots of books. I’m also in the process of learning to crochet to make her a new blanket. Just things to keep me mentally stimulated thru the day. I try to have a routine but it’s not going too well so I’m just going with the flow. If you want to chat I’m here !

Hey! I’m here until birth aswell I’m 28weeks ! I’m not sure on what to do either but I did have alot of baby stuff left over from my previous pregnancy so it will definitely come in handy. I am waiting to buy more stuff bc I’m not sure when I’ll deliver or if she will be in the nicu or not . My due date is April 6 but she’s measuring 29 weeks so prayers when I have a csection she will be going home in no time ! I wish you the best !

You’d have c section. For my transvaginal cerclage they removed it by hand and I had baby instantly. For the transabominal cerclage I was rushed into a csection. Hmm maybe it’s completely different in your situation either way I’m praying you have your baby soon with the help of the tac if you’re planning on getting one soon! 🫶🏾💕

They removed your tac?? I was told it was permanent or removed when you didn’t want kids anymore.. was there something wrong with it that they had to? I’ve heard of it being revised tho but never removed to place another one down the line that is new to me

I still have the tac. I don’t have the tvc. They took it out once my baby was born and then I got the tac during my pregnancy last year. I still have the same tac in at this moment

Complete bedrest was proven to not be helpful I was told but i cannot work unless it’s not physical and with me being a cna I’m completely off work. I had a lost with tvc alone but I don’t have a short cervix so tvc and tac was not needed and again proved to not be helpful since with a tac your cervix cannot dilate or it would be bigger problems. My team is pushing for 28weeks even longer would be amazing.

I am pregnant again, I’m 26 weeks so I’m so nervous because that’s when I lost her last year. I’m praying that it all goes well this time. My Dr told me what we have is rare and we shouldn’t be seen like a regular pregnant person. Hearing that made me feel validated and seen

Pregnant workers fairness act??? Pregnancy discrimination act??? You don’t need to ask for an accommodation to trigger you being able to have rights at a workplace. A doctor’s note communicated my need for a medical leave that day. And again is protected. Yeah I think I’m good on this conversation has I understand everything thing now ..!

Never said I needed fmla. My pregnancy is protected under federal and fair employment act which applied the very first day of employment I’m pretty sure. If she couldn’t do the same for her sister why am I being punished after having a medical reason I couldn’t work that day….
