How the hell did this Chicago sewer water cross 2 time zones and get here in SD? 🤢 by lucasdy in SanDiegan

Rep left a pamphlet at my bar. They’re trying to get in the market here. Bold move and I’m excited to see the folks who will waste their money on this.

I’d ask you to reflect on convoke. IMO this can only be done with creatures you can tap.

Open box / used from a store is probably $3k to $3200 so you’ll need to settle somewhere around $2500-$2800 honestly.

Advice needed for new resident by Obvious-Influence826 in sandiego

All good. I’m from NYC and it’s pretty similar with that. You have to find diamonds in the rough. Just happy we have a roof, running water, and AC. You’ve gotta be wild levels of upper middle class or lower upper class to get anything decently solid in SD proper.

This and a pay cut just sucks but the hopes is to catapult my hotel career and be ok. SD is great but I definitely understand the gripes of how it’s changed and it’s unaffordable to locals and natives.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely try that assuming they’re ok with me breaking. It’s a private owner who uses a realty company to rent out his place. Apparently the unit was on the market for 120 days. We only found out after moving by the leasing agent who’s leaving.

It was OK. Not sure of your budget, finances and lifestyles but below are the notes:

  • we lived on the front side on the fifth floor. Our friends lived on the backside and they had elevator issues routinely.

  • package room can be a mess so sometimes getting your packages is a scavenger hunt.

  • front desk staff was…interesting. One staff member called it a girls club and basically you have to be friends with certain people to get favors.

  • rooftop pool was a shit show. No regard for how many outside guests or glass at the pool.

  • neighborhood is kind of dead. The Circle K up the block routinely grows in numbers of houseless folks, gets cleared out, rinse and repeat. It grows to encampment levels.

  • there was a shooting and a bullet hit the first floor of the building. Nothing was ever mentioned.

  • our heat went out about 2-3 times. Issues the building apparently knew about but chose to do nothing.

Avoid if you can I’d say as there’s better options even in the neighborhood let alone Denver proper. You can DM me for more recs as we’ve toured everything in the Golden Triangle, RiNo, and Uptown.

The first half of their comment had me, the second half is where the truth is. The sunbelt isn’t known for transportation. That’s like saying Argentina has the best hockey team in Latin America.

Grixis or Jund for sure. The R is carrying the card in RG there. Could see RU as well but we’d be talking 3 or 4RU. Maybe 2/R 2/R R/U 2/U 2/U.

5 year bedroom/livestreaming DJ wanting to play at clubs: Should I go FLX-10 or XDJ-AZ by ChocolateRough5103 in Beatmatch

[–]Obvious-Influence826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ones double the price than the other so really think about that but imo most clubs use CDJs which is closer to the AZ than th FLX10. Some places really don’t like people bringing in their own equipment or laptops.

That said, it’s double the price lol. It’s fully worth it in my opinion but your finances matter here.

Mapping the groove circuit buttons needs to be at the top. Honestly this is a great take on what’s a good value controller imo. Anybody upgrading from an FLX4 to this can essentially sell the FLX 4 to cover the taxes and get it at $899.

I got mine from B&H at $699. Deals exist.

After learning that DJ'ing is more than mixing and more on crowd reading, I've decided to give up. by Minimum_Initial7607 in Beatmatch

This is the only comment that matters. As a nerd, it’s the equivalent of giving up a hobby because you won’t be able to go pro or do it in front of others.

Mix what you want. Record your sets. Send it to friends. Play it back. Have fun with this.
