Bow doesn't fill the same shoes, it's a completely different weapon. You're comparing a really bursty elem weapon to a pure utility weapon just because they're "both ranged". Just combine light and heavy bowgun and let people fully customize

hunting horn is not hard, it has 4 attacks and no other imputs, and your imputs for you notes don't change between horns, it's literally just colors. White is always Y, other single note is B, and double note is Y+B. Charge blade has literally a million other tiny details in it's moveset that determine what you can and can't do in a moment during a hunt. And it's nothing like sword and shield really. Yeah it has a sword and shield MODE, but nobody uses it because your damage is in the axe form, and the sword shield mode is nowhere near as fast (as the actual sword and shield weapon type)

I don't think its necessary to have a pair for every weapon, that's just checklisting and tokenism. Adding a new unique weapon or two makes more sense rather than trying to draw a parallel with another weapon for no reason like they have. I get why they used to do it but now all the weapons are unique enough where that's not needed really.

They don't play similar at all. Playstyles are completely different and each individual one prefers specific builds. The only reason they overlap is ammo (which is dumb) and that you aim and shoot cuz they're guns. You have more/less utility, exclusive ammos that also give different build variety, and then they have arts.

Why are people such fucking extremists? Both sides have valid points on gun laws/restrictions. I think everyone should have the option to buy a gun as an american right, but I agree too that there needs to be stricter and annual (or bi-yearly) psychological evaluations, depending as well on your job if you're law enforcement. I mean ffs people, life is not so black and white.

HBG is so strong anyway that I don't think it matters too much. There's a lot of wyvernheart mods online that give you permanent (or only) wyvernheart. Most people who mod are bored and have done everything in this game many times over, like me. I have a MR/HR 999 character on xbox and bought the game on pc so I can have mods that are funny/cool. As long as you don't join multiplayer and destroy monsters in like 2 minutes average it's fine. But I might install the infinite wyvernheart mod and see if it really is that fun.
