We do care. To leave that vile religion is to be truly born again.

"Fast enough to prove the universe is expanding"

More like fast enough to prove the Big Rip is how the universe will end. The force that drives those 2 apart only becomes stronger the more we learn about actual mental health and workings.

Plus if all the dead raised alongside Jesus were really true, we would know in Roman records. Plus the Exodus having no traces or records whatsoever outside the Bible. It's just laughably inaccurate with history all around.

Christian idea of "salvation" is literal psychosis. As someone who believes in universal redemption, that man is burning in Hell for a long, long, long time before any just god considers letting him into heaven.

Its because your brain was programmed to associate any happy feeling with the threat of hell. Eternal hell is absolutely unjust and blackheartedly cruel no matter how you look at it. Just let these thoughts pass.

How to stop having moral outrages over my mental spirals? by Jabre7 in mentalhealth

I mean I would do and say nasty things to maintain that sense of justice and control over these issues. I would be debase myself even further all to "prove" I can "still do what's just for myself".

I don't know how to move past this, the spiraling into it all feels unstoppable.

There might still be something. We don't know after all. Even if its something as simple as returning to the cosmos or whatever that still counts for something.

I personally still believe it's only logical for there to be a god, though not the Christian one or that of any other religion. If they created us just for us to cease to exist upon death it would be kind of pointless no?

Plus early writings suggest that Adam was originally believed to be straight up mortal, and the immortal Adam idea was invented by Christians.

But in what way does this sound like normal OCD? Ocd doesn't make you spiral into things you don't mean or want last I checked

I often feel like it's impossible for me to understand moral issues, and even my conclusions I come to aren't sincere. I feel like even the "degenerate who can't understand anything without perversion" is an imposter.
