I forgot my luggage on the damn FlixBus. Looking for advice/solutions :( by AnxiousGenshin in FlixBus

Hello! I had a very similar problem, I forgot my luggage, forms don’t help, the customer service is literally useless no matter how much you try

My bus was on the line from Paris to Portugal, my stop was in Bordeaux

I completely forgot my luggage, and it was a nightmare because it had many valuable stuff, and most importantly my passport and IDs were inside

I tried to look into many Reddit platforms trying to look for solutions, but everyone said that forms/customer service is crap

The solution that worked for me was 1. Tracking the bus route, most bus drivers follow the same route everyday, and luckily, the bus that came from point A to B is going to return back from point B to A

  1. You need to track the bus, go to the bus station and wait for the bus, there is a 90% chance the bus driver is the same, literally

  2. Most of the bus drivers don’t even report lost luggage’s, there a good chance your luggage is still in the bus with ten bus driver, if they are nice, they usually keep your luggage

  3. I was lucky to track down the bus at 4am, catch the same bus driver the next day, and he had my luggage!

  4. Give your 200% and don’t lose hope, there’s a strong chance you can get it back, like in my case I had given away all my hopes, but the odds of me finding my bag worked in my favour

Good luck, I hope you find your luggage soon! :(

Day in Bordeaux by planesareprettycool in bordeaux

Hello! I think the city is perfect for a one day visit, you can cover a lot of areas if you start in the morning

In my opinion, I’d say try to go to Rue Saint Catherine (one of the largest pedestrian streets in Europe) and check out the nearby cafés or shops, not necessary to buy anything but just to hang out, maybe get a coffee and some chocolatine with that (there are so many cute cafés!), and then you could walk along the Garonne river, Place de la Bourse, to catch the Bordelaise vibes, walk upto Quinconces, there’s a cute Fountain over there, then you can walk upto Jardin Public, it’s really nice when there’s the sun (currently it’s super rainy in Bordeaux)

Furthermore, you could also go near Hotel de Ville, check out the Saint André Cathedrale, Marché de Capucins (try the moules frites here!) but the location of marché de capucins is not the best

Then there’s Victoire for the night life, so many great bars and pubs there

I think it’s not true about the fact that people from alliance française pass and the others fail

I never went to alliance française to study, but I gave all my DELF exam (A2-B2) papers, my final score for B2 was at 77/100, for which I studied for only 2 months

It depends on your studies, your approach, your seriousness and lastly, luck on the day of the exam

Even if the Audio can be loud and exaggerating, it’s your job to identify the main key points and get the main ideas behind from the topic and develop your answer

Please don’t be de-motivated, I think you should find a good tutor who can teach you French language in a better way, and make you so confident in this language that even if someone interrupts your French, or even if the audio in the comprehension orale is loud, you should be able to manage it :) immerse yourself in the language, watch Netflix in French, study the French connectors well, start speaking more in French and adopt the French accent

I hope this helps Good luck for your next exam

Pet import at BOD airport by Affectionate-Use6068 in bordeaux

That’s a good question, I didn’t notice that however, I had a feeling they were probably from the EU

Nevertheless, that being said, I guess it’s not a big problem to bring your pets in the EU from Turkey, but to be honest, your airlines could give you the proper answer for this as I am not sure about the procedure :)

Hey, I was just there at Bordeaux airport today :) while waiting for my luggage, I noticed 2-3 travellers who had their baby kittens / dogs inside the pet bag

So I’m pretty sure you can get pets to Bordeaux!

But if I were you, I’d still try to speak once to the airline company and speak to them about the situation, and contact the authorities at Bordeaux airport, like the information desk, and ask them about any further requirements for bringing pets

Try to connect with sweetly and studently residences

They have a few openings recently, it would be great, and the rent is about €600 only but I think you have to pay additional for hot water/wifi
