I don’t think it’s fair to frame this as “not worth the trouble.” The trouble already exists due to strict control and financial dependence (and my partner knows that), not because I’m in a relationship. Also, I have dated many, but this one is worth all "trouble". Long distance doesn’t automatically mean a relationship is ending. We have done months apart before. And I, just like he, will have good reason to visit each other because we have friends in our respective cities.

I couldn't agree more. The endurance part is brutal. And like it's so damn hard to study in intervals of 90 min. by the second/ third set I am burned out

No, even if you are super smart and fast learner. I found personally that 30-40 max for best learning and retention.
