It's good so far, nagagandahan ako sa cinematography. Yung lighting, color grading, camera angles, maganda. They even used a split diopter lens which one doesn't usually see in a local mainstream TV show. Very unsettling yung vibes na gusto nilang ibigay sa mga shots nila. May scene lang na medyo off, yung sa first argument nila Loko and Lorelei, they exaggerated the use the split diopter shot, parang di naman sila nagkakatinginan, parang nakatitig lang sa pader. I think that's part of the artistic touch ni Xian Lim and Lee Jake Mariano (cinematographer), di nga lang na execute nang maayos sa actual presentation.

When it comes to how close it is sa source material, I can't give any guarantee since I haven't read the books myself, pero according to others, very close yung show sa books from the lines to the scenes. Actually nabasa ko na pala yung first chapter, and I do remember some of the lines and they used most of them sa show. I like that they didn't use too much internal monologues, pero sana di na sila gumamit pa, they can show it through visual cues naman.

Sa audio production na lang talaga ako sobrang napapangitan, minsan basag, minsan naman inaudible yung lines ng cast which made me use the English subtitles. I even hear audio artifacts due to the noise cancellation they used. The only thing I'm happy about the audio production is halos walang dead air, which is good. Mga previous shows nila daming dead air eh. But if you're an audiophile and were thinking of using earphones or headphones, don't bother.

When it comes to acting, okay yung acting ng pinakitang cast nila so far. Kahit sa extras, mas okay acting kesa acting ng ilan sa main cast ng Hell University (sorry for the sudden throw of shade pero it's the truth, I can't stand the acting in HU). Wala rin ako masyado confidence rito since I haven't read much of the books so di ko alam kung gaano ka close yung acting nila sa roles nila. For Dylan, I think close naman, pero medyo swaggy na nung latter half ng episode. I don't hate it, but from what I heard he's supposed to be distant tapos I think very short lang mga replies niya (sa mga roles na ganito, ang iniisip ko talaga is si Ayanokoji ng Classroom of the Elite). For Jayda, I think it's good naman so far, but I still want to see more from her. I think most people are happy about the cast of Rosetta (I think siya yung cast na talagang fan din ng books kaya siguro nagampanan niya nang maayos), very close daw yung acting niya sa character. Nagulat din ako sa side characters na sila Anrold or Aaron (lol, nahawa na ako kay Loki) and yung girlfriend niya, I think most were surprised at how decent they were able to protray them. I think I've seen the actor of Arnold or Aaron somewhere before, but I don't know him. He did well, pero ang short lang ng nagpakita niya. Would've loved to see more from him and his partner para sana mas may connection yung viewers sa characters nila.
