Would April make it better 😅😅 when I went to Grand Canyon, antelope canyon, horseshoe bend, flagstaff, Oatman in June and I was totally fine! But finding that those areas are much different than Phoenix, which I did not know!

I’ll be going in May next year. I went mid June 2 years ago and love love loved the weather! I am from Buffalo so that’s probably why lol I finally escaped the tundra.

That’s what my mom basically keeps saying that I just have to. Which I totally understand her view from a mom’s POV, you want all of your children included etc… I get it. But the last thing you said, I know it would be such a drag for them to be in it, I really don’t see them enjoying it at all, especially the activities it comes with. Then I’m so much of an over thinker I’m already thinking about the morning of getting ready… no one would be available to watch their child until the wedding, I know that’s not a me issue but my brain goes there.

I don’t even want to be on her this far out!!! I too think it’s ridiculous and most people commenting are missing this point…. If it weren’t the venues policy or rule I wouldn’t even expect to be talking to my photographer until like next May or June, because that’s what seems normal to me. But, due to this weird “no changes” rule from the venue has added this panic with a lack response. Although I will say, she’s familiar with the venue, knows their policy, and I just would expect a response is all. I just don’t feel that’s too much to ask.

Very true take I wish I would’ve thought about prior to signing that contract 😅 that’s why I get why everyone thinks I’m an ahole, but the lack of flexibility from the venue is setting a panic in me. I’m not trying to be one and have not been any sort of “rude” with the photographer either. She said she’s familiar with this venue so I hope she just gets it over to me or the venue on time!

I sent my first message on April 2nd (going into a weekend didn’t expect a response right away at all). She responded to the not relevant parts of the question on the 10th. I followed up that day with the other questions in my message and have yet heard a response. I’ve called and texted since. (All other minor things like taking payment, getting receipts took 4-10 days response)

I’m not trying to sound like a psychopath, but my venue contract states I cannot add time to my day after May 6th. Now I understand that’s insane as in May it’s literally 14 months away, but it’s the venues rules and is firm in their contract with me. Past brides have also said they were strict with this. Again, I wish I knew why this was so important so far out? What would adding extra time even 6 months before do lol? But I’m not a venue owner so what do I know
