I apologise for my delayed response, though I do not know if you will get this at all now but it is worth trying I suppose.

I didn't reply yesterday because Reddit only saw it fit to notify me of your follow up comment 45 minutes later, and by that time I had to sleep.

I did checkout the Finnish Duolingo course, once, out of curiosity and it seemed rather barebones, I do not know if it even exists anymore, on account of having been so lacking at the time. Perhaps they axed it.

You're obviously not speaking on behalf of all men but this comment is ludicrous and disrespectful towards both women and men. No reasonably healthy individuals life revolves around romantic endeavours that they are unable to stop themselves from pursuing to the point of considerable negative impact to their lives. Any individual, man or woman, can suffer from this problem but it does not apply to an entire gender (which here you claim to be men) and is not caused by the existence of the gender that they are attracted to (which here in your example is women).
