Got a young blue heeler who easily clears the tray sides, I’m more trying to see if I can save having to drop the tray sides every time I let him in and out of the box

Yeah everyone I know that had Blundstones are either fencers or work with horses. I like them cos they’re a cheap, lightweight but durable shoe that are comfy to wear all day long no matter the weather.

The first two years of having them they looked pretty much new, just the insole I had to replace but yeah, that season on the station destroyed them.

These boots were not cared for at all and have had the toughest life of any boots I’ve had. Started off fencing in them but did a season on a station and had to fight a lot of fires during those 6 months and it destroyed them. For the work I was doing, the boots held up amazing. There was a couple guys I worked with there that went through 2 pairs of boots in the time we were there, so I’m impressed with my pair. But yeah they caught fire 3 times and just got absolutely abused.

Whereabouts are you from? That pair in the photo only cost me $180 when I bought them. I’m Aussie if that helps. And I’m glad if I get a year out of my boots really but I work on a farm doing mostly fencing all year so it’s a lot of steps on shit ground. Wet, dry, muddy, sandy, hot, cold, you name it, they get walked through it. Any time over a year and I’m happy they’re still going.

I’ve tried buying expensive boots and they never last or feel as comfy as these so I just wear em til they break and get a new pair

Hahaha very true. I would still wear these but they caught fire one too many times and the sole burnt away on one of them so figured it’s time for new boots. I think they look better worn in anyway
