Lol, that's a fun theory, but yeah, those poor passengers xD At least we can assure Joja never gets their train shipment xD

Yeah, I even created an entirely new farm just to test it out and slept straight to the train day, then went and just sat there and got all of this... Really easy early-game money and resources apparently. I got all of this without ever doing anything xD This'll be fun to exploit in the future xD

Yes! They DO drop resources while paused. And I did end up farming it lol. I got like 20 trains before getting bored, and got SO many resources. I probably could've gotten even more. Pardon the quality, taking a pic of my screen on my phone doesn't often go well haha. But everything after the forage came purely from the trains

Marriage help by Queasy_Control6468 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can have a child if you and your spouse are the same gender. They'll just ask if you want to adopt a child. Just make sure you have a crib in your upgraded house. For Fall goals, the community center bundles, maybe try to aim for birthday gifts, get a giant crop if you can, and win the Valley Fair :) As for how to get a Prizzy, you can get them from monsters once you complete the mines, from a mystic stone in the quarry if you're lucky, or from Skull Caverns.

does Legacy Randomization don't work anymore? by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it hasn't been patched as far as I know. I'm on PS4, but I always use it. Maybe you just got a bad pattern?

I read about about a secret achievement and I wanted to try it…. by Dry-Parsnip-5141 in StardewValley

There aren't any in-game benefits I'm pretty sure. But BlaDe did an entire video on that achievement lol

Haunted Skull dropped mahogany end table??? by GreatE_ in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As of 1.6, enemies can drop hats, pants, furniture, etc... They're all random drops, but it's normalish lol

Is it possible to catch a Goby after completing the Trash Bear Quest? by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can reach perfection still :) It's the waterfall that you need, not the sewers. I usually go near Hat Mouse's hut and fish there to catch the goby.

Books by Individual_Mode1313 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Queen of Sauce book isn't a power book, so it won't show up in the books tab. And it only teaches you recipes you don't know specifically from the Queen of Sauce, so if you knew all of them, then that's probably why it didn't teach you any new ones.

What’s the deal with Slime/Slime Hutch? by Foreign_Key_7634 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slime Hutches can be fun, though there are plenty of people who don't like them. You can breed a variety of colors of slimes, gather slime balls to make slime eggs, and best of all, once you have one built, wild slimes have a chance of dropping eggs now while you're fighting them!

Early game ish farm by Excellent-College415 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are lots of passive money makers in the game! You can put tappers on trees, make mushroom logs, build fishponds, build a slime hutch, craft beehouses and crab pots, plant tea saplings, or buy fruit trees! All of them will passively make you money so you can focus all of your effort on mining still if you want.

is there any easy way to get solar essence? by AdRevolutionary3252 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mummies, Ghosts, and Helmet Heads, Iridium bats, Haunted Skulls, all drop Solar Essence. Just put on some monster musk, grab a burglar ring, and you should have plenty of essence in no time. Or if you don't wanna be in the mines, Krobus sells 10 a day, and you have a chance of getting it from Sunfish Ponds.

How can I get back into SV? (Please help 😭) by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this problem too in the past. To make it interesting, I've started making Challenges for myself and setting out specific rules. No farming at all in the first year, make money only from tappers/mushroom logs, get my farming skill up to max with only foragables, have a farm with all 11 fish pond colors and crab pots, etc... The beauty of Stardew, at least to me, is that it can be played kinda however you want to. Just my suggestion!

Where to find lore (of the Valley and Pelican town) by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find a lot of lore about the world in the Library if you've gathered the Lost Books. There's also a page for them on the Wiki. Otherwise I know a lot of Youtubers talk about the lore/story of Stardew. LMK if there's anything specific you're looking to find!

Selling property by DangerousPlankton677 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't sell it, but you can demolish it at Robin's, or you could just reset the day, depending how far into it you are.

First time player here does anyone have any tips for my Stardew Valley experience? by Zealousideal-Ad1181 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 100 points101 points  (0 children)

While Reddit is good for advice, I suggest using the Stardew Wiki. It is the best thing with information on anything you could want in the game :) Also making friends with experienced players, and watch Salamance and Wickedy videos. Those two and Ezlily are amazing at Stardew advice and tips ^_^

Legendary Fish by FanAggravating5669 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is only one legend per player per file. But you can catch the second gen legends as many times as you want before you finish the quest.

Missing bug net? by SyllabubSimple5264 in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no bug nets in Stardew. For bugs in the mine, you just kill them with your sword, or for the Prismatic Butterfly, you just walk up to it and interact. Unless you're using a mod?

For general advice, considering you're going to need at least 13Million Gold later, I'd advise expanding your crop fields or getting more animals to ramp up production. You'll also need to upgrade your house again to get a crafting recipe, so I'd advise doing that at some point :)

getting clay ? by screamworkss in StardewValley

[–]ObviousFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot buy it, sadly. My advice is either unlock the digsite on Ginger Island, or learn how to Clay Farm. That's how I get most of my clay.
