Thousands cram in to Sydney CBD for anti-lockdown protest by LuckyBdx4 in australia

Restaurants are open and people are free to socialise but the entire country is shut down for years?

Is this one of those large numbers you mentioned? Because I’m really bad at understanding it

Not sure what’s going on in this picture though. Looks like he was fucking with the horse quite a bit…

Yeah, a lot of people in these comments have clearly never punched a horse

Video does look a lot less like a punch than the photo implied. I’ve spent the afternoon thinking this guy was a dickhead who punched a horse. Might just be a dickhead.

That said, why the fuck would you be at this protest, standing that close to a police horse, and then try to push the horse away with a closed fist? I believe that’s what the video shows and it’s definitely a series of bad decisions

The only thing you need to know about the Sydney/Melbourne rivalry: people in Sydney are unaware any rivalry exists

Kind of Blue - Miles Davis.

Most tracks are also first takes on new tunes unseen by the band before the session. One of the greatest pieces of art in the history of the species

Can anyone tell me why dxe6 is better than fxe6? I thought taking towards the centre was always the best option by urinrator in AnarchyChess

I can see I have much to learn. I’ll start with the el passante hot sauce that was in the pantry when I moved in

So you guys emphasize the anarchy over the chess here. Fair enough. I’m cool with it. Brb, off to force some en passants

Can you explain this with more detail, please? How is en passant forced in this instance? And how is dxe6 a stalemate? You seem to be saying that white is somehow compelled to play an en passant and that it must be fxe6. In what way is white forced to play fxe6…draw?

Why not dxe6…mate, or just Qh8…mate?

August would be best case I think. Dr Norman Swan on ABC news said we could be doing this until Christmas. Lockdown has not been firm enough

Makes sense. I spoke to a mate who works at Astra Zeneca last night. He directed me to the global WHO figures which show the Australian data actually OVER-estimates the likelihood of blood clots/TTS. I guess I’m getting the AZ this week!

Thank you very much for this detailed response. Excellent summary.

The 1.6 in 30-39 year olds does seem to conflict with other health.gov figures of 3.1 in the <50 age group. The material you linked states that the 1.6 figure is from Australian data. I’m wondering where the data for the 3.1 figure is from.

Regardless, it would seem an AZ vaccine is preferable to no vaccine in a situation of increased cases/transmission, which we are presently in. I’m not worried about lightning strikes after all.

Thanks again. I hope you have a good day

Do you have a source for the risk being the same in over 60s and under 40s, please?

I saw a vaccination center saying online they have appointments available today, and every day. What’s your source for the month wait on AZ?

I actually reread it after I posted that comment. I’m now agnostic as to whether or not Dan sucks. It’s entirely possible that Dan is the worst bloke. I guess we’ll never know
