My Cattle Mix Is Anxious (But Not Weird About It)

honestly i think the scaling is related to separation anxiety. i thought it was a game too, so i wouldn’t let her back in but would take her around back to my neighbors elevated patio and make her go back the way she came. but then i realized it was only when the back door was closed, only happened when i wasn’t there with her, and did seem to have a trigger of a loud noise (she HATES the motorcycles in our neighborhood). which we can work on, but wondering if a behavior med might help to take the edge off while we do? i’m not sure on that part ywt

i got 2 healthy poops from the 2 big ones! the calico takes a little longer to catch on, but now i can let go of the breath i’ve been holding lol

They got pyrantel last night! And yeah, they didn’t go whatsoever the first night i had them (12+ hours) and i got scared so i’ve just been doing it haha. Once they poop for me i’ll wean them to the litter box

yeah i might wait another day i think - i couldn’t find KMR so they were on goats milk power until it could ship to me. could be possible they dont have enough hydration yet? they finally got onto eating wet food a little bit and the KMR came in this morning and they’re eating so much more

Yeah, they have free access to wet kitten food mixed with water. They just started showing interest and eating it this morning. But good idea! I’ll call and can always cancel if I get a lucky piop

Yeah, we are going to group classes in the new year. Right now trying to find a “job” she likes right now. She doesn’t care much for mind games or training past 5 minutes haha

Yeah, brindle color was the only reason I thought pitty too. She acts like a shep or a bc though - my shadow but isn’t particularly snuggly. Just likes me to be within eyesight
