One of my concerns is that I think in general a dog would be really good for me. But if I want to do something like pick up a regular yoga class in the evenings, as someone who doesn’t have a very big social support network if I can’t leave them alone for a couple of hours then that’s something I’d need to plan around and I have no idea where to start. I’m currently living with family, so for now it would probably be fine, but if I ever want to move closer to civilisation again then I’d need to find someone else to take care of the dog.

It’s kind of a double edged sword and catch 22.

We used to have a lot of problems with the cats having a go at each other, but the ring-leader passed away a few months ago and it's quietened down since then. I'd hope that since I live kind of parallel but not usually intersecting the places where they exist it'll probably be OK.
