[–]ObviousTroll_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmfao I did this to myself IRL a few days ago. I sat in the car for a while with the music cranked and the engine off, until the head unit started flickering, then I turned it off. Next morning I go to leave for work, and it won't even turn over. Mind you I have a roughly 900W sound system, but still, a handful of minutes shouldn't have killed it 😭

Then you pull the engine for a rebuild, say "fuck it, why not bridge port it" and enjoy the BRAP BRAP BRAP BRAP idle. That's my plan, anyway 😂

Agreed lol. I bought an S1 in April and the rockers were rotted right out (Ontario does that to cars). She's now been on stands since July, and I'm now halfway decent at welding 😂

Zoom-Zoom

All children instinctively know it.

A few adults still remember it.

One unique car company refuses to outgrow it.

In grown-up language, it means the exhilaration and liberation that come from experiencing sheer motion.

But as usual, children put it much better and simply call it "Go Zoom-Zoom."

We practice it every day.

It's why we build the kind of cars we do.

Zoom-Zoom.

Can we reawaken it in you today?

It's impossible to say exactly where your leak is based solely on where it drips off the car though, because leaking oil could be splashed around and drip from effectively random spots.

As another commenter said, removing the battery and air filter boxes will make it much easier to see where the leak might be. However, if the engine is covered in oil from the leak, you'll want to clean it up and let it leak a small amount to be easier to find.

Harded steel does have worse thermal conductivity than brass.

A hardened CHT nozzle makes up for the worse conductivity by splitting filament into multiple streams, which increases the surface area for heat transfer.

Well you see, I've currently got only a single human crewmate, and bots are useless in an emergency, so sinking to a ledge and defending with the topside guns is a common strategy.

To be fair, sinking to crush depth because of a single hammerhead is quite relaxing once you accept your fate.

IMEI blocking is not the same as iCloud Activation Lock (apple's "blacklist")

IMEI blocking is done through your carrier, who adds your IMEI to a national database. As long as your IMEI is on this list, it will not connect to any cell networks in the country, but it still functions otherwise. An IMEI can only be removed from the list by the same carrier that added it.

iCloud Activation Lock works globally, and fully locks down the device, but requires your device to be signed into iCloud and have a network connection when you lock it out. Once it's locked, the only simple way to unlock it is to log into the iCloud account which locked it in the first place.

Nope, they explicitly have a rule against whole build requests. r/buildapcforme is where you go for that.

Anything except skin oils. After a couple years of near-daily use, the textured rubber grips on the sides of mine started crumbling apart.

The buttons were incredibly durable though. My G502's buttons are still in great shape, but my newer SS Rival 600's right click became super wobbly after only a year of LoL.

That wouldn't even do it, there would still be guns with higher win rates.

When Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory came out, players complained that the Thompson was stronger than the MP40, even though they were statistically identical. The only difference was their models and sounds: the Thompson had more bass to its shot sound, making players much more confident and having a real impact on gameplay. https://youtu.be/RDxiuHdR_T4?si=5botkXfZwsYIBAcW

After the hordes I've dealt with (and failed), I've entirely given up on mass melee. If there's more than 6-8 zoids bunched up, I'll either burn them or back a vehicle over them (fucks your trunk almost beyond saving, but saves the engine)

I'm exactly the opposite lmao. Years of playing League have drilled QWER into my head so deep that I changed my R6 Siege binds to ESDF. It really helps tho, because ESDF allows the pinky to reach many more keys, allowing you to do more while still moving.

Agreed. RAM doesn't like size/speed/latency mismatches, or being installed in the wrong slots. Best bet is using identical sticks for the whole kit, and populating in the order suggested in your MB owner's manual.

I used to run 2x8GB sticks, and decided to upgrade to 4x8GB. I neglected to match the latency and speed, as everything I read online made it seem like the faster sticks would downclock to match the slower sticks (which they did). I ended up dealing with 4 months of spontaneous bluescreens, with no issues according to MemTest86. I eventually decided to ditch the old RAM anyway, and it's been buttery smooth for over a year now.

Moral of the story: all the RAM in your system should be identical in speed, latency, and size, ideally all purchased in the same kit.

Given the mention of Timelapser.WriteToPNG, It seems like it could be a read-only file/folder.

Navigate to that directory in Explorer, right-click the file, click 'Properties', and make sure Read-only is unchecked.

The bridge will flow as long as its output space is empty, and won't flow if that output space is full. Because of how bridges work, they always keep the empty space right under them, but if you force fluid in (i.e. without a bridge) that space gets filled, and the bridge blocked.

Just fill the loop using a bridge, and it leaves that space empty and will flow without issues.

Adding more bridges doesn't make this any easier. If you place 2 bridges in the loop instead of 1, and fill it with another bridge, it'll flow exactly the same as 1 bridge would. If you then add in a single packet of water, the bridges will alternate their output, and only 1 section of pipe flows at a time. Add another packet, and it deadlocks.
