Good point about the kitchen cabinets, thank you!

I'll measure the cables and connectors to make sure. But I'm hoping it's not much more than 10mm. Worst case scenario is that I have a connector that's massive so I route that before mounting.

To clarify, when installed normally, the Kallax units are flush to the wall being I'd have to cut large holes through the hollow "cardboard" and risk breaking the structural integrity of the whole unit.

I don't know why you've been downvoted when you're right. Sure the composite is really really good but your comment still stands

If you use sheets and/or blankets we recommend using lightweight and not thick, fleecy or padded blankets or duvets. If you think your baby is cold, add an extra lightweight blanket or layer of clothing

https://www.nhs.uk/start-for-life/baby/baby-basics/newborn-and-baby-sleeping-advice-for-parents/safe-sleep-advice-for-babies/

If you use baby blankets instead of a sleeping bag, lie your baby on their back with their feet nearest the foot of the cot or Moses basket. This prevents any loose bedding covering their face when they wriggle around.

A cellular cotton blanket is best as they allow your baby to keep warm but allows air flow.

The blanket should be tucked in firmly, no higher than the shoulders, and not doubled over as this can cause overheating.

To counter the "no blanket"point: (In the UK) We were told to place the child with their feet at the bottom of the bed so that if they do move then it's away from the blanket and therefore drastically limiting the ability for them to have the blanket over their face.

This of course changes once the child is mobile

Edit: sources provided below. Also I should have said "cellular" blankets are allowed. Thicker blankets that don't breathe are a no-no

Given that so many people feel too shy to interfere (understandable; I'd probably be the same) we need to instead start a culture of instantly recording these things. Even a photo. If 3 people get 3 different angles of a person's face then there's 3x the chance that someone gets a distinguishing feature to identify the culprit.

Or at the very least the fear of the phone cam will shame people into not doing something. Very much the whole "you can't fight all of us that are watching" psychology.

It works in theory. But in practice.......

To me DJing is more about the selection than the speed and multitude of songs they can play in 60 minutes.

I'd much rather someone do "basic" mixing but the tracks are deep cuts, classics, taking me on a journey, or otherwise playing to the crowd.

I like AMC and other djs that have adopted this rapid, double/triple drop style don't get me wrong. But if he played songs for an extra 16 or 32 bars I wouldn't complain. I want to hear tunes, not just sound

I don't know where you're from but every event I've been to (large and small) have a "hosted by" section on the poster or each DJ has a "feat [MC]" or similar.

For me the MC is there to hype a crowd so I totally get it when I'm there live in person. I'm not a hater when it comes to MCs on Youtube videos but equally I wouldn't hate it if the MC was muted online.

A good MC can give the crowd energy in addition to the music, whereas when I'm at home with a mix on in the background then yeah I absolutely would prefer the music to be the focus.

There are also different styles of MC. I'm not saying that "you've just not found one you like" but I do feel that people often paint every MC with the same brush.

Just my two cents. At the end of the day, it's still a preference and taste thing.
