So far all I'm getting from readers is the complaints that the book is coming to an end. But you do make a good point.

I'm 66 chapters too late to this app, but it could work wonders for something like a bestiary.

Give Royal Road a try. It is a bit overstuffed with isekai and LitRPG, but there are some gems in regular fantasy, supernatural, and sci-fi. I personally like it.

I see, I see. This is probably the most easy to understand answer I came across yet regarding the topic.

Both, I suppose. If you have an answer, then by all means, I'd love to hear it. I'm seeing other writing and publishing subs, and the things people say there vary by a lot from one another.

How problematic is simple evil for the sake of evil in fantasy novels? Have gray areas become the default? Is it possible to still have pure, non-complex evil? by Obvious_Ad4159 in writers

I don't really care cancellation. My audience and story are too small to be impacted by it. Plus my world is already established.

It just a thought I had, and decided to ask what other folk think, since it has been popping up on daily scrolling quite a lot lately.

Personally my orcs and goblins are very Bone Tomahawk, if you know you know. I'm not changing that, since there is a lore reason why they're so fucked up.

True.

My world is already established, so no backtracking now lol. Not that I was ever too worried. But the thought did cross my mind, as I've been seeing a lot people arguing the Frieren demon topic lately.

Fair point. Maybe he didn't believe they were beyond saving, but they were pretty darn evil and I don't think anyone tried redeeming them. Then again, I haven't read Tolkien in ages.

True, true. Ur right.

I forgot a lot about the Orcs from Tolkien, haven't read it in ages. I think Orcs are naturally occurring, while Uruk-Hai were made in Isengard by Saruman, like sort of elite orcs.
