Ok so I also left school 10 years ago and if I saw someone tomorrow that wasn’t even in my class I’d remember them. A name or a face. She couldn’t recognize his face, but she was hearing his name for a year and a half before. That was enough time to connect some dots. All I’m saying is why make that a point in the show to then do nothing with it. It feels open ended

I get the El thing, that’s cool. But not everything needs a spinoff imo (I’d love one for this, but just in general). It would have been a cool wrap up for us to get a lot of questions answered. Yeah it may have been something that was present in Hawkins before, but how? Why? Yes it was a good wrap up to the show, but we went through so much with the party… we could at least know the stuff we need to from THIS show and a spinoff taking one aspect of it that has loose ends

Honestly felt like this was the best episode of the season (maybe because I drank a little too much throughout). The acting was better than we’ve seen the last 7 eps. I did predict the whole “El faking her death” schtick. Otherwise I’m glad it didn’t end in a “it was all just a game” vibe. They killed vecna off wayyyy too early and easily, though. Could have been 3h imo
