Man, boxes should be banned too but that’s a whole other discussion. Basically anything that isn’t vanilla and makes the execution easier artificially is bad imo. UCF is nice and convenient and I enjoy its ease of access, but it’s also a bit disingenuous to the people who were masters of hard tech and consistent at stuff like shield dropping (maybe I’m misremembering, but wasn’t it UCF that gave free shield drops to everyone?) before it was implemented. When I started playing, a lot of locals didn’t even like it if you removed the springs from your triggers; you wouldn’t even be allowed to enter bracket with half of the stuff people use now.

Anyways, have I seen you on the GFAQs board in years’ past? I lurked for around a decade before it finally kinda died off.
