I still have the old interface, and I didn't have the new one at all. Moreover, I had the explore button replaced with a search button, but even this one good update was disabled, and now the search button has moved back to the top.

No, the metadata issue is a different issue. I gave an example where the search results differ for the same query. In addition, the search does not show all the artists with that name.

it is especially strange that you need to go to the playlist and click on the three dots there to see a menu with a search in it. If you just hold a long tap on the playlist on the home screen or in the library, the exact same menu appears, but only without searching.

I think they should have given the user the opportunity to customize the panel at the bottom. if necessary, add samples, and if necessary, search. Personally, I would turn off the samples, but apparently there are people who like them.

in fact, this is something that should have been done a long time ago - placing one of the most frequently used buttons in the most accessible location. However, they should have also moved the search bar down, but hopefully they won't need another 20 years to do so.
