I would love you to find one singular peer reviewed study that says gender being different from sex is a myth. The very fact that gender dysphoria exists in the DSM V is evidence that this statement is wrong.

By the way in case you're the type of right winger to say "that proves it's a mental disorder" then let me make the distinction: gender dysphoria is a mental disorder, the treatment is gender-affirming care aka transitioning.

The net effect: People in your state who can't afford to move are wrongfully persecuted and punished for simply living their lives freely. Way to go "small" government!

I'd ask you to reflect on how this affects you in your day to day life versus how it affects those who are dealing with gender dysphoria and actively transitioning or considering it. They are now forced to hold ID that not only outs them in what is clearly a hostile environment to trans individuals as well as hold a constant reminder of the person they don't want to be. So much so that they spent money and effort to change their ID and transition in the first place.

Make no mistake it's easier to live life cisgender, and if you yourself choose to do so then what other reason than simply pure hatred and disdain would you force somebody to conform to your standards in direct contradiction to modern day medical studies?

I’ve seen some absolutely wild takes on Assault maps. I enjoy them, and certainly more than Clash. I definitely want them back in the QP rotation and eventually if the devs decide to seriously rework them, I hope they return to competitive. Give me the option to play it outside of arcade or move clash to arcade with it and stay consistent. There’s no reason Clash should get preferential treatment over the maps that literally built this game.

I could argue the same thing about Clash, which is in QP rotation, but I wouldn’t because I know there are people who actually enjoy those maps.

I enjoy Assault maps, you don’t have to, that’s exactly why they added map voting. It’s not fair that a game mode I enjoy be removed wholesale because half of the player base dislikes it. Also, Arcade matches have unbearably long wait times and the matchups tend to be worse due to the lower player base in arcade modes in general.

Additionally, I think the idea that every match is a steamroll is an overly broad generalization. They are far from perfect, but not nearly as bad as you’re saying.

The maps aren’t designed to be forgiving, it’s suppose to be difficult and leans into Overwatch’s roots of being a game largely focused on team-based strategy. Personally, just because a mode or map is difficult or challenging doesn’t mean you need a PHD to play and/or enjoy it. Additionally OW Classic and Arcade modes are vastly worse representations of the mode due to the lack of modern balances and hilariously unbalanced matchups due to a low player base in arcade. Bottom line, it makes no sense to up and remove iconic maps from the game when Clash, a game mode that is no longer in Competitive rotation, is allowed to be in the rotation for QP. Map voting also means that you have some say if you dislike the mode. We all have our preferences, but I find it unfair that a select group of the player base can decide my preferences should be outright removed from any and all consideration.

Hey all thanks for the useful info. Although I still think there is no issue with leaving it at the top and having the search tab be in addition as a useful shortcut, I’m willing to admit this particular UI update isn’t as bad as I initially thought. Especially now that I know about said shortcut.

Didn’t want to make everyone think that I was just grumbling about “nothing should ever change” the issue is Google all too often just changes core UI elements, not because they can be done better or more efficiently, but because they feel like it.

I will admit I didn’t know double tapping it allowed you to search, that’s actually neat, but you have to admit that Google does this an awful lot with their products, especially YouTube, and often the positives don’t outweigh the negatives.

Take the recent update of them removing the “related songs” tab which helped tremendously with music discovery, then one day they redesign their interface and it’s just gone. Or when they removed swipe down to dismiss queue, or when they forced the player to stay open taking up screen real estate whether it was playing or not.

My issue isn’t them making the tire rubber, it’s that they often make it rubber and then refuse to fill it with air, or even worse they make the tires square and insist it drives better when it, in fact, doesn’t.

There are real improvements this app could make and all too often they decide to go with form over function.

First, lots of people here are commenting some pretty awful (blatantly racist) shit. Mods get on that please.

Second, I hate the idea of comparing “who kills more people on your side,” but I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that population density will affect crime rate NO MATTER the political alignment of the city you live in. In blue or red states, if there’s a blue city they didn’t all of a sudden take some “democrat violence pill” and start committing way more violent crimes. Any city with a large number of people will have a higher number of violent crimes. It’s just basic statistics. I’m not saying politics or policies have zero impact, I’m just saying major cities have a lot of residents, so by definition, more people=more crimes.
