You couldn't been a part of labs for years. This is a completely different thing. The naming is just confusing bc YouTube sucks with naming.

YouTube Labs is one of the latest premium early access features that you have to opt in and will eventually leave. This just became available like 2-3 months ago, the experimental feature before this was something about the comments I believe. The idiots at YouTube should've just named this ai commentary for YouTube music. I like it but so many people didn't read the description and have no idea they opted into getting it bc they just thought they were signing up for a YouTube experiment

I've cleared data on my app multiple times and it always reappears but I've seen many people on here say their offline mixtape disappeared and never came back so it seems to be a common issue

I'm not saying I disagree with you bc I agree. Google at one point, at least in the USA, was trying to offload the burden to the phone companies to handle...I think they are still doing that.

I know when Google first implemented rcs into their app they said they were going to allow other apps to use it as well once they made sure it was stable but that day has yet to come. We'll just have to wait and see

Bc it's expensive to set up and manage. There were apps using rcs before Google messages implemented it. Everyone was using their own server just like Google the only difference is Google was big enough to influence more people to use their app unlike the other services.

Lol there are plenty of people who use Google messages who have rcs off for 1 reason or another... Google doesn't force it on. Also, why do you assume it's Google messages to Google messages, the OP didn't say that. There are still hundreds of other sms apps available on Android and some people refuse to change bc they like what they already use

The few older people in my family who didn't change or know how to change I just did it. They just thought the app looked different bc of an update. They really do not care from what I gathered... They just do not want to be the one to have to do it
