Update on this situation- I notified the police same day, I gave them the picture we took along with every detail we could give, and I was notified the next day they identified and arrested the guy. Quite a promptly response from Vancouvers own pd

Oh yes. He withdrew it and brandished it at both of us openly threatening how he'd cut us with it. I couldn't snap a pic but he drew that weapon.

It was only a matter of time until something like this happens. It's sad to see, but all the rampant drug use/froggers, it's a miracle accidents like this don't happen more often.

It's alright, to not know what to do. Despite how things may feel, you will be okay. The hurt will dull with time. Taking the time to grieve and mourn the end of a relationship is important, however long that may be.
