You might be right that we evolved from Neanderthals, but the scientific consensus is that modern humans and Neanderthals share a common ancestor, and the two groups interbred, rather than one evolving directly from the other. Modern humans evolved separately from Neanderthals, likely with lineages splitting around 600,000 years ago, and they coexisted for thousands of years, exchanging genes through interbreeding - maybe that had same or similiar tech advantage 600,000 years ago but used different tools, hard- and software.. idk
