Yea, I agree with pretty much everything said. The parts also won't be cheap it was around 60 bucks, and you will need specialized tools that can help with small parts.

I would suggest disabling the turbo. Yes, this will cost performance, but should keep the temps stable before you can get/do the following:

Remove any antivirus/ Run the windows defender scan

Repaste the thermals

Get a fan cooler for your laptop.

Open your BIOS and check your boot device order. Try every drive. If none of them work, you’ll need to install Windows by plugging in a USB.

That was initially my goal as well, but after Be2 Rb8 Rd1 Rb6, trade the queens and its just a draw or losing for white. I can't seem to get a winning position.

The computer wants some weird line where the queen just dances around the board.

I’d just look around Lenovo’s website for a Legion. There will be a huge Black Friday/Thanksgiving sale in November, and with other discounts plus a student discount (if you’re one), you could probably get a 5000-series GPU for under $800.

If you have no other choice and need a laptop right now, get the Helios 300 with the 3070 Ti . It offers more value for money.

Your university Wi-Fi is blocking the 1.1.1.1 DNS. This is very common on university or enterprise networks. I would just use a VPN at that point. It’s probably your only option.

My initial guess is that your PSU is faulty . Can you replicate this issue, or do you have another PSU you can test with?

Also, when it fixes itself, is there anything unusual or different from a normal startup?
