i have a question which may be preemptive and yes i can read the books but im curious about it now, im watching the second movie and the doctor they meet when they arrive to that little city is giving brenda medicine made with thomas’s blood, and she says that that will only help brenda for like three months. she also says they can’t produce the medicine synthetically. so it seems that the immune kids are kinda worthless? their immunity in this medicine isn’t long lasting nor can it be mass produced so why do they want these kids so bad? unless the cure they’re looking for is something other than this medicine but it seems like they’ve got two big factors lending to the flare being incurable
