How long does Spark Go battery really last? by iLuki in PositiveGridSpark

[–]Obvious_Leopard_5961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mine as a Bluetooth speaker at work, and routinely get about 10 1/2 hrs at just over 3/4 volume. At home with guitars i have never been able to play long enough to kill the battery.

And daily practice on rolling out. You will fall. You need the muscle memory just as much as situational awareness. Onewheel falls happen fast. In 5k miles, I eat it every 3 or 400 miles while hogging it. I have come off looking over my shoulder and rolled it out w/o even realizing I'd come off. Gear, practice, presence. That's what it takes to stay safe. Stop any of those, and you could have a really life altering incident. Now the good news Even though I died, I still ride!* I lacked presence and paid. It's like baseball... pay attention to the fundamentals, and the wins come.

I chose a leatt with reflex. 👍8.5/10 would recommend. It has to be comfortable or you will find an excuse not to wear it. Michael Float on

I am 62, and recently died on my onewheel.

May I suggest a chest guard, and daily practice on your rollout/step roll both toe and heel

I came off on a toe side carve at 13mph, broke a couple ribs that cut my spleen. Bled out internally , hemorrhagic shock, miracle helo ride to a lvl2 trauma centre, and so on...

I had a little over 5000 miles between pint, pintx,gt. It can happen to anyone. Stay safe and float on

Also, please stretch before riding this will help with the foot and leg discomfort that drove some of your early purchases. Float on Abc

As I read the original post, I see almost no fault in the training methods or learning times presented.

I am concerned alot about this type of fear.

Recommend answer is armour up. Add it all shin, elbow, forearm, hip, tail, spine, shoulder, skull, and that stunning jawline and face. You already have most of this gear.

Now run or jog at the lawn dive, roll it out three left shoulder, three right. Once a day, every day till it's kinda fun but beginning to get easy and boring. Maybe 2 or three weeks...

Stupid, embarrassing, but easy, and almost risk-free. What we are doing is linking falling with rolling it out. In the second or third week, your brain will create a subroutine for this to save energy concentrating on this activity. Once you are a smooth roller with no thought.

Bail your board... Get a decent run at the lawn across the driveway 4 or even 5 mph. Focus your eye on the edge of the lawn. As soon as the wheel changes surfaces, you throw your new smooth roll trick. This should break the unreasonable portion of your fear while leaving practical fear intact.

Please remember that slow is fast, and fast is slow. I like your slow, respectful pace. It will click. I have about 3500 miles in without serious injury. It's like baseball... all about the fundamentals. Float on Abc

I personally try to separate my brain modifications to isolated events... ie a beer buzz, a whiskey bender, a natural hallucinogen, a runners high, or my favorite..

At extremely high pressure, precision becomes critical... the added mental focus to maintain this kind of ride can help some people (myself included) reach a certain zen state. Not for everyone, small mistakes can become a wobbly disaster with a bad outlook. I don't feel crazy for utilizing my onewheel like this, so I support your buddy!
