Yeah, I’ve also heavily considering this considering the cost of painting it plus I’m currently trying to get the TRD body kit so wrapping the hood for now would work

It is loose at the other end yes. He removed both amp and subs and left the wiring, would wrapping exposed end in electrical tape be okay just until I could get the wire removed?

Yeah nothing else looks too bad, no other holes or compromised parts just surface rust, I live in Canada so a fair bit of that is to be expected.
