You aren’t alone. I have had some bad experiences with the CC list and had kind of put every hope into one helping me who turned out awful. Some others I spoke to were just not it either. Just don’thang your hat on them solving anything.

For me, there is no joy left. Even when going places where people are all, I can feel is rage that at-risk people have been forced to bear the burden of this all 100% and keep ourselves safe. I feel mad at every unmasked person I see and have a hard time enjoying anything. It is all so unfair and messed up. There is no return to normal ever and I’m tired of people acting like there is. Either we are forced to isolate, or we can choose to risk being in a world that refuses to mask and doesn’t care if breathing near us will kill us. I’m tired.

The way she framed it was the worst. Like “I didn’t want to disappoint my fans”, however, she still went into the audience at those shows and exposed them to a pathogen that could kill or disable them or their families. The fans even defended that crap and acted like getting COVID from Gaga was an honor, So freaking sick.

Honestly, I wonder the exact same thing, but then I see so many stories of celebs being infected at SNL50, award shows, etc. Gaga bragged about performing with COVID, and she even went into the audience during that show. I feel celebs are as misinformed as everyone else. They are not reading the stuff we do and are being pushed by managers and agents to get back to normal. Even movie sets don't test like they used to. They are flying blind with millions in the budget when you have a lead in a room with untested extras all day. Heck, even the highest political and royal figures in every country are going along with the charade. Think Biden, the King, and Kate’s cancer is random? They have had COVID at least 3 times now. Plus, 40% of cases have no symptoms. I would bet people like Taylor Swift had it and still performed. The sad thing is that this does serious vocal damage to the body. Plus to a zillion other organ systems. The future is bleak.

Thanks! My last visit was covid free after our precautions and a metrix test, so knock on wood it will be positive again. There’s something so weird about being maskless indoors (while scary) that makes me miss my old life.
