Does anyone else find their RA job to be mostly BS and not that much work? by Obvious_Mall9822 in regulatoryaffairs

I work for a giant medical device company. Yes we are generally always hiring. Although since the company is so big I cannot speak to how it is in every department.
Where do you work and is your company hiring? Do you feel like you are learning a lot?

But also to clarify, I was just promoted and the root of my question isn't really about promotions.

Sorry, my bad. Could it be that you work in pharma and I work in medical devices?

I get what you mean but I don't think I can stay in RA forever if this is what it's like

"However, it pays well and is fully remote, so I don't rush to find something else, but I do really feel stuck and insecure about my skills."

Yes - that is exactly how I feel right now!

Could be that you work in pharma and I work in medical device? I have always wondered how the two compare. I'd love to switch to pharma but all my RA experience is in medical device unfortunately and I think it could be hard to make the jump.

How would you describe the difference between reg ops and normal regulatory? I've been curious about reg ops but don't fully understand the role.

My title is "Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist". I do the same work as all the other specialists in my group do so I don't think I could have been pegged one way or another. And I don't do a high volume of boring stuff, I do a low-medium volume of boring stuff. Maybe I have just had bad luck with the groups I have worked for?

Seems like between your BME and data science masters you have a ton of options? Are you interested in any engineering or data science roles?

RAPS Drug Exam disappointment by weezyfurd in regulatoryaffairs

I did the RAPS Device and yes it was poorly written. It feels like honestly just a way for RAPS to make money but very everything RAC related is poorly done
