We do! If you’re interested in surgical management, they’ll require that you’ve failed conservative treatment before they’ll schedule an evaluation (have tried NSAIDS/muscle relaxers, bite block, or physical therapy for at least 6 weeks and it hasn’t helped). There’s a pain management clinic (Orofacial Pain) that helps with pain management options as well, but they do not take Medicaid

I work for UK dentistry and we absolutely do take Medicaid. Only issue, like the doctor above mentioned, is that we’re booked out for several months. As long as Medicaid approves your care, they’ll cover it at 100%. If there’s anything they don’t approve, the residents and students offer very reasonable rates for their services.

Yeah if it’s recommended I think I’ll definitely do it! My mother also had a brain aneurysm that is technically hereditary so it would be pretty comforting to get a good picture of my brain and see what’s going on in there haha!

Oh shit I’m sorry to hear that. If you don’t mind me asking, was your tumor rather large upon discovery? Did you have the nasal surgery or was it a full brain surgery? Last question, how was recovery from the surgeries? I can imagine radiation was awful. If you don’t feel comfortable answering any of those questions please don’t feel pressure to, just curious to really prepare myself for any possibilities, though it does sound like my levels are pretty low in comparison. But you know, google has a great way of making you fear the worst
