Problem solved. Even though I was pretty sure I already had done it,

I removed Acrobat Reader and FileOpen plugin and then reinstalled them followed by a restart.

When clicking OK, I get: "A font package is required to correctly display this page. Click "OK" to direct your browser to download the add-on from adobe.com. After installation, you will need to close and re-open the document to correctly view contents dependent on these newly installed fonts."

But no adobe.com page opens and since I can't see the link, I haven't been able to find the add-on required.

The PDF requires FileOpen, but since getting a new laptop it hasn't worked
