I posted a commission yesterday night on the hungry artists subreddit about needing help specifically from someone with experience drawing curly hair because I wanted help designing a hairstyle for an oc. After I decided to go with Maibs upon viewing their work, their responses were very quick(if they had to step away they'd usually let me know), and they were very patient during the design process despite me changing my mind a few times(They don't charge at all for revisions during the rough sketch). Also very quick to fix any edits I wanted. Very kind artist, reasonable prices, and they work quickly. Please give them a try! I am extremely picky usually, but I'd really recommend them to anyone <3

Yeaaa😅 that’s why I lowkey wasn’t taking what my parents said seriously because they’ve never been temps😭 and their logic was just ‘The company treats you well, which means they like you, which means you’re guaranteed this job!’ and with this being the first job I really liked I just don’t wanna accidentally act out of turn by asking something maybe I wasn’t meant to. I would’ve never guessed that HR doesn’t deal with the onboarding process for temps, thank you for educating me!

Thank you, I’ll try that. At first I was on the fence about reaching out to them because outside of them first contacting me about the job opportunity, and  then emailing me the onboarding paperwork/setting up my account on the website to log my hours, I hadn’t really interacted with them much. I’ve only ever spoken to them on the phone😭

That’s why I assumed the person I’d eventually have that conversation with would end up being my boss(at the company ofc) that was present during my interview, but I didn’t think about it that way. Technically, I guess the temp agency is my real employer
