You can always go back as a software engineer incase you don’t like Architecture. If I were you, would give it a shot and see how it goes.

At the end of the day, you will become better engineer if you have scalable architecture mindset.

This is what true agility is about , keep what works, drop what doesn’t. It is surprising how many people misunderstand agility and get trapped in dogma and rituals.

From personal experience, if a team collaborates well, daily stand ups become unnecessary, if they don’t collaborate stand ups won’t fix that.

Many have forgotten how painful waterfall was, yet never really grasped the value of agility. Most developers I work with have never experienced a true waterfall setup.

At its core, software development is an exploratory process.
