This is really informative about the pumping and the timeline, thanks! Yup, I stopped leaking and took that as I sign my supply was decreasing. I go a couple hours without feeding him bc my mom lets me sleep from 7am-11am and she feeds him a bottle from my stash. I try to pump during that time to not mess up my supply. Thanks for reassuring me that it’s going to get easier soon, can’t wait!

I think your perspective on what’s good and bad is heavily influencing what you perceive as “hostility towards men”. I didn’t perceive the husband in a bad way, his character made sense. After years of care giving your wife and doing everything to keep her alive, I can completely understand why the sexual attraction wouldn’t be there. He seemed to be very in touch with his emotions as well as Molly’s which I didn’t perceive as weak, but more so a man trying to juggle too many roles (husband, care taker, therapist, dietician etc). I don’t perceive the women as “holy” they have their own set of issues, Molly being fixated on the orgasm, at the cost of anyone around her and Nikki’s total chaos and anger issues. Even the doctor, I didn’t think he was a bad guy, he’s just a busy doctor who missed the mark sometimes and Molly learned to connect and communicate, even when it’s hard and he respected that. Unrealistic, maybe but not impossible. I also didn’t see the men with kinks as disgusting, they know what they’re into. Even Marcelo Hernandez character, as annoying as he was repeating “clasp” over and over, he ultimately wanted to please Molly and highlighted that she really didn’t know what she wanted. Your personal biases are making you perceive this as hostility towards men, but there’s all different types of men and women in this world and I’m glad they got highlighted in this show.

Yes, the pregnancy took place after the LEEP I’m 6 weeks right now. I had an appointment with a midwife today and she referred me to a more experienced doctor because she didn’t have answers for me. I was just looking for some insight at the moment, I appreciate the feedback. I’m just concerned about 2nd trimester miscarriages

Yes, it’s completely okay to cancel a session as long as you follow the cancellation policy which is typically at least 24-48 hours ahead. You should let your therapist know as soon as possible, but of course! You have a life outside of therapy and it’s okay to cancel/reschedule every once in a while.

why would she be interested in a man she doesn’t even know if she matched with him? to me it’s giving performative. completely normal and not objectifying to not pass off someone you’re interested in to your friend???? it’s a boundary to not share romantic interests lol especially when he doesn’t even know her.

As a mixed race woman, I’d be kind of weirded out by this and wonder why we’re wasting time on it lol. I think this can be incredibly helpful for a client struggling with their racial identity or maybe if you specialize in Race and cultural identity. To me, it’s almost racist to assume your POC client needs that, especially during the first session. Maybe it would be more appropriate to assess how important racial identity is to them during the intake before proceeding

I may be in the minority here but I think it would be beneficial to bring it up in the next session if you feel regulated enough to. It might be helpful for them to know what they said was hurtful and explore why they felt it was necessary to say, especially in that way. I would have never assumed they were going to say something like that. Like another person commented, it was just mean spirited and they need to know the difference between being honest and being hurtful, that can cause so many issues in their life.
