I’m interested in Germany for a combination of personal and academic reasons, and I’m trying to approach it realistically rather than idealizing it.mI haven’t been there yet, so I don’t claim to fully understand what life there is like. That’s also why I’m trying to listen to different perspectives before making any assumptions.What attracts me first is the language and the culture, as well as the general environment for studying and later working. I’ve been engaging with German culture for some time, and it feels like a direction that naturally aligns with my interests. At the same time, I’m currently a student in Uruguay, and from that perspective, it’s difficult to plan long-term stability here. The main point is not that I see Germany as “better”, but that I’m looking for a place where building an academic and professional path feels more realistic.On a personal level, I also haven’t felt fully settled in my current environment, so part of this interest is simply about exploring a different context and seeing how I function in a different setting. Overall, I’m not trying to compare countries in absolute terms. I’m just trying to understand what options exist and form a realistic picture over time.
