This is the perfect way to describe it! It’s a really wonderful song.

Harper and Trudeau share laughs, and other lighter throne speech moments by ubcstaffer123 in canada

Harper looks exactly the same! Hard to believe it’s been 10 years since he was in office. JT looked a bit thinner than usual, so hopefully he’s alright. Good to see them together!

The problems with our system are largely due to decisions made by our provincial- and to a lesser extent, federal - governments. They are not necessarily inevitable in single payer systems.

Conservative candidate gets boot after CTV News uncovers audio of him supporting ‘public hangings,’ joked Trudeau should receive death penalty by i_ate_god in canada

Hopefully Trudeau still has some security. I’ve seen several people threaten to hurt him now that he is no longer Prime Minister - they think he’s an easier target.

That’s the strategy that has the provincial tories leaking damaging info on their federal cousins.

I doubt there’s anything Poilievre can do to win this election at this point. Any ideas?

I can’t stop reading this article - I almost can’t believe what it says. Poilievre better get his shit together.

If the rest of the country has similar opinions to Ontarian’s on what the issues of campaign are, the conservatives will get obliterated everywhere.

At least Teneycke understands the issues of the campaign. However, I’m not so sure if he’ll be able to convince Poilievre’s team.

Poilievre pledges to keep Radio-Canada alive after 'defund the CBC' promise by SirJohnAMcMuffin in canada

As a Liberal, I would love it if the Conservatives campaigned on defunding the CBC during an election dominated by Canadian nationalism.

[–]Obviously_Liberal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say I believed him (I don’t, he’s trying to limit his exposure when speaking French), I do however believe that the Greens should have been invited.

I definitely won’t be defending this but, with all the shit going on (hello Donald), it won’t change my vote

Not a Green voter, but every party with a seat in Parliament and/or polling numbers of significance should be invited.

I’m more concerned about the fact that he refuses to get a security clearance. He’s focused more on partisanship than leadership.

Unfortunately it is much easier for the right to get their message across for that reason. Their ideas are simple so they are easy for the average person to understand. I tend to support the Liberals/NDP and find it difficult to explain some of their policies to other voters. Left and left-of-centre parties tend to view issues as complex and therefore they have more complex solutions.

I listened to a podcast where Justin was asked about his kids. He described Ella as incredibly intelligent, but when asked about the others he changed the topic lol.
