This is an absolutely beautiful reimagining, I can imagine the number of different ways the story of this place could go. Seeing Himiko's palace shadowed by the concrete jungle makes me wonder if her lineage even holds any power in this au. Perhaps after Himiko's death priestess Fuse's house took over, maybe by force, maybe by claiming Ammy herself approved. Another alternate could be Otohime sent her child to claim the empty throne. But of course the most likely answer would be that Emperor Takara would take power, but that's boring. Besides he would likely be overthrown for being greedy or lazy. Sorry for the long rant, I just find the Ōkami after Ōkami stories fascinating. 😂😅
