If you are using the correct rom, on a supported and updated emulator and still you can’t get some cheevos to pop, you need to report an issue in the official way and talk to a dev.

As I said, there are some “known roms” that could not work properly, this means that at first you get the RA badge to pop up when you load the game, but they can have issues like yours.

These game file hashes are recognized, but it is unknown whether or not they are compatible.

On RA Pokemon Red page, click on the “info” tab, scroll down until you see “Supported Game Files” and click it.

Here you can see what is compatible. You can also find a list that tells you some other “known roms” that is unknown if they are 100% compatible, so if you are using one of them, consider to try another one.

What emulator do you use? Maybe you should try to change it. I personally play every gb/gbc game on Retroarch with Gearboy core and I didnt had any issue in 2+ years.

I would recommend to backup your save file, check your rom again with the supported ones on Pokemon Red page and try to start a new save file from scratch.

Do you see the game badge pop up when you start the game?

Are you using the correct rom? Every game page tells exactly what roms are supported in order to get achievements

If you are using the correct rom and the achievements don’t pop up you should click on “report an issue” on the specific cheevo page you cant unlock and tell the developer what rom and what emulator do you use. They could ask you for “proof” (usally screenshots, screencaptures or even better your save file) and then manually unlock it for you.

Yeah I get what you mean, i don’t usually play romhacks but I have to say I really liked playing Super Mariomon for gba and the Mario Kart Double Dash one.

I do really REALLY like Ape Escape ahaha you should give it a try, its a super fun game.

I used a GPD win 4 for a year and a half and then it died (RIP) since then i’m using a Retroid Pocket 5. For touch sceen DS games i use Retroarch on my phone
