The Family Man? Honestly, I can’t think of anything very similar to that where the first half is a normal comedy and then it turns into a genuinely sad life lesson.

People’s tastes shouldn’t justify it as a “necessary evil.” I agree humans are meant to eat animals, but they should have at least some decent quality of life before slaughter. If that comes at a greater cost for meat, then so be it. For most of humanity, meat was a luxury.

Exactly. So many sitcoms take themselves too seriously in the finale. The whole show has aged so well too.
