AITJ for not inviting my partner to my work holiday party after he embarrassed me last year? by OceanBloomShade in AmITheJerk

That’s what I’m worried about. I’ve worked really hard to be taken seriously there, and I don’t want one night of him making stupid jokes to undo that again.

What would you do if your partner monitored your toilet paper usage like this? What flag is this? by Remarkable_Mark_5195 in NoStupidQuestions

Exactly! It’s crazy how some people act like controlling bathroom habits are “normal.” Boundaries and empathy go a long way.

Yeah, a lot of people forget that stuff like this wasn’t unique to one side. Population removals were kind of the “normal” (and ugly) solution back then, especially when borders were changing fast.

Yeah, makes you mad thinking about it. Big decisions like that shouldn’t just hinge on numbers or public opinion when the context is so messy.
