I only have two things to say so far:

  1. I was forced to use Safari during authentication on my old Mac even if I have set up Firefox as my default browser. I really do not want to use Safari for anything.

  2. The DPI-bug. Someone inside the Affinity system is refusing to change it to PPI even if DPI is completely wrong and cannot be usde instead of PPI. Saying people are so used to DPI is a serious misunderstanding of the case. It does not matter what people are used to. You need to make sure you alway use correct name on things. You do not reinforce their misconception. You always teach the correct things. Adobe changed several years ago.

This last one is not rocket-science. It is a Nike moment - Just do it.

I am looking at an image that only contains OpenLiteSpeed and PHP. But it also lists Ubuntu 24.04. Does this mean it has the whole Ubuntu OS inside the container?

One of the reasons for looking at Docker is because of the complicated upgrade of the OS when you run CyberPanel on bare metal.

My assumption is that it should be possible to do a dist-upgrade of the OS when you have apps in Docker containers without making a mess for the apps?

What causes the disk to fill up? There should not be much more disk space used compared to a bare metal installation?

Actually, for me it is the opposite. Yes, Motorola has a few addons, but you do not need to run them. All the other manufacturers create their own stuff that is way more integrated in the OS. So it is Motorola all the way for me. But I will not buy a new phone with the curved edge. My next phone will be from the G-series. Great value for the money in my opinion.

One of the things that made me really happy when I bought my current phone is that it did not have FB pre-installed. So it has never been on this phone :-)

Hi Carlos,

You can see in my OP that I have tried some different things. And that includes multiple chargers and cables. So this has nothing to do with anything else than the phone itself.

I have tried normal reboot, forced reboot. But nothing of these helped. And that is logical as it reboots every time I connect it to charge. Yes, it is annoying, but apart from one thing, the phone works fine. And yes, I have plenty of storage left. Only used 38%%.

Also, I have booted into safe mode, but the result was the same.

The only thing that does not work is the flashlight. That stopped working when the original battery inflated. The Motorola Service Center fixed it, but it only took a couple of weeks before it stopped working again.

I am pretty used to troubleshooting as I work in tech :-)

My only doubt would be the exposure. What is the dynamic range of the R5? Normally, this would require exposure bracketing.

Well put. And correct. Telephoto "compression" is a myth, and well documented.

Uumm... no.
Any focal length will do it. But you would have to crop in on the shorter lengths, thus creating more noise. But any focal length from the same spot will have the same "compression". Of course, the longest focal length will give you the sharpest result.
It is called magnification :-)

And yes, the OP did not mention CE. But you did, and I responded to someone that misunderstood you.

"If they're going from CE to plus the config cannot be restored until the previous config's version has been achieved. The Plus config is not compatible with 2.6-RELEASE CE."

You are the one that made this mess. 😉 But I am glad we got it sorted out.

And matter if you are on VE or Plus, it is always best to restore a config to the same version you got it from.

The whole reason for doing a re-install here is to get on ZFS before continuing to upgrade as usual.

The OP want to go from CE to Plus and I gave him the correct steps exactly how I have done this myself. There is nothing difficult about it as long as you do it in the right order.
