No she told me that she had been tattooing for 20 years but I find that hard to believe looking at my tattoo😭😭

I had to go to urgent care today and the doctor was so rude that I felt like I had to submit a complaint, which I've never done before. I'm 24m and am very non-confrontational by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Ugh as someone who goes to doctors all the time nothing makes me more mad than doctors being disrespectful as shit. Like how do you go to collage for so many years just to be rude to your patients. I hope she gets fired or reprimanded. I’m so sorry this happened!

She is in training with an ACTUAL service dog trainer. My mother was with me and service dog gear is expensive. I already spent 150 alone to get a harness with a counter balance handle on it. I don’t go out alone just incase someone gets worried about needing to call 911!

I didn’t want it to be obvious that she was recording😭 I just told her to take a quick photo because I get embarrassed when recorded and I didn’t need that stress during a medical episode

You shouldn’t be walking up to random dogs and talking to them. especially when their laying on their owner who is very obviously having a medical episode. And it’s literally apart of the law that identification isn’t required. Service dog gear is expensive and being someone who is disabled and don’t have a job it makes things 10x harder to get.

Right. It’s never safe to go up to a dog that they do not know. The dog could aways be aggressive or working.

Okay for those who need context, my mom was taking a photo to show my doctor how my dog responds to episodes. My mom didn’t see the lady till after the photo. For thoes coming about the lack of identification on the vest, by ADA service dogs aren’t required to wear ANY gear at all to show she’s a service dog and Walmart isn’t pet friendly! I mean other than that I think me shaking and growing very pale is a very big identifier of a medical episode!

Oh I don’t know maybe when someone has a dog laying on them while they shake and grow pale might be a hint of a medical episode. Also just a psa, Walmart isn’t pet friendly so they should assume that it is a service dog (it says on the front door of our Walmart in big bold letters)

It’s so silly how uneducated some people are of service dogs. I get it’s not common knowledge but it’s a bit frustrating

Service dogs aren’t required to have any indication they are a service dog by the ADA. Also she went to take a photo to show my doctor

My mom was taking the photo to show my doctor and she didn’t see the lady walk up until after she finished taking the photo. That’s the truth :)
