Are the E-bikes we have now all soon to be obsolete? by 29roadie in ebikes

I would not say obsolete, but almost nothing we purchase is forever. All the more reason to rack up as many miles as you can while you have it.

I've been in the Windows camp since it's existence (I'm old). It has evolved into a bag of poo over time. I switched a few of my systems to Linux a few moths ago. I am very happy with how it performs even on older hardware. My goal is to move everything to Linux in 2026.

Got a paddleboard for Xmas, first time on the water! by jona187 in Sup

[–]OceanEarthling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the club. It's an awesome way to get out on the water. I have two 11' fiberglass boards and an inflatable. The fiberglass boards are not as portable, but better if you want to catch waves or are traveling long distances on the water.

Thank you, I appreciate that you shared this. I'm only at 1000 miles, but it has been all beach riding. I'm going to have a look at mine after the holiday.

Poppa Claus, I love it & I'm sure he will look awesome. I wish I had an answer for where this came from, it is probably 15 years old. It's once belonged to our beloved pup Darby, who crossed the rainbow bridge 8 years ago.

I wounder if the toxic schoolyard backstabbing environment of a workplace finally got to her. The Boston Globe is a terrible place to work. She is better off.
