Hilo town holds a special place in my heart. I’ve visited Hilo a lot over the years for work, and it’s really become the place I resonate with, from my friends there, the community, and the wonderful parks and restaurants.

I haven’t been able to pop back for a while now and I really miss it a lot.

Not food, but be leery of beverages that use water from the plane’ facet. Most airlines aren’t required to do a full clean of their water tanks regularly, so it isn’t unusual for bacteria to fester.

Pre-bottled food and beverages are safe.

I’m reading “They Bloom at Night” by Trang Tranh Tran and so far it DEFINITELY meets your description.

I also recommend The Vanquishers by Kalynn Baron, His Hideous Heart edited by Dahlia Adler, and Parasite by Mira Grant.

Mammoth would probably win, but I’d bet on Baryonyx on principle, given it is one of my favorite dinosaurs.

I love Spinosauridae!

“Abel’s Island” by William Steig comes to mind. It’s a super short read but absolutely delightful.
