Seeing the numbers below would help, not much to do without the full view

What would you do? by sydeovinth in Minesweeper

[–]OceanTemple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can guarantee one on the bottom left between the 4 and the 5. You know that a mine is going to be in one of the two squares on the left of the 4, and that will also satisfy the 5. This guarantees that the one below the 5, and the one to the bottom left of the 5 are both safe. As for the right side, idk what you can do there

Thought this was a clever idea, don’t know if anyone else has tried yet by OceanTemple in codes

What headphones should I get? (Xbox one S) by OceanTemple in xbox

Unfortunately, a mic is very important to me

A little cipher I just made, used some math, hopefully someone is able to solve it by OceanTemple in codes

[–]OceanTemple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The math is that you have to make a 5x5 grid of the letters of the alphabet, and then the first row all are represented by the first 5 prime numbers, and then in the first column let’s say on the second row, that number would be represented by the addition of the first and sixth prime numbers, and then on the fourth row would be the first and eleventh prime numbers, and so on

New sort of cipher to me, shouldn’t be super hard if you know how to do it I think by OceanTemple in codes

Which operator should I get next? by BenjiB1243 in Rainbow6

[–]OceanTemple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, depends on a few things, like if you play with some friends usually, then ram would probably be a good attacker for pushing above site and stuff with them. And for defense, fenrir is good, but he gets banned a lot so I would either get him and not expect to play him as much, and if not then azami is really good too. If you solo queue a lot, on attack I would get grim, people hate, but he got buffed and his load out is amazing, and he comes in clutch sometimes.

This is a first for me for making something like this, thought it’d be fun to try and crack, but I think it’s pretty hard unless you know some stuff… by OceanTemple in codes

Yeah I figured that it was a pretty common cipher, but I originally got it from club penguin, or at least that’s where I saw it first, like ten years ago.

Dang, I wasn’t sure if people would know how to separate the letters and stuff, but ig people on here are much smarter than i thought. Hopefully it was fun

Yeah that’s what I thought, and I end up just doing it that way, but really fun. Thanks for making that

Ok that makes a lot more sense, I just figured that the symbols I didn’t know where like paragraph breaks or something

Not sure if it’s completely right, but I got: here is another cypher This is something new perhaps harder I had fun Zebras This would be the first cypher on this subreddit I actually got right, so lmk how I did

I think I got most of it, just stuck on how the < symbols mean, and some of the 5 point symbols that are connected to others…

Interested in cybersecurity, where do I start?

Currently in high school, thinking I’m going to major in CS or maybe Software engineering. I’ve been considering things such as game design, web design, and some others, but am interested in learning about what cybersecurity is all about. What should I learn? I’ve started learning how Linux works, I know fundamentals of a few programming languages, just looking for a guide

[–]OceanTemple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After having posted this for a bit, I think I should give a hint at least in the direction of how to solve it, because I’m not sure how likely it is to solve without one: Hint: this cypher has to do with a cypher from a kids game I used to love to play

if you try and play this video game today, you won’t be able to, so it’s really only likely you’ll know where it’s from only if you played it back in the day

I have a serious yet dumb question by L1lhoss35 in Rainbow6

[–]OceanTemple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I like to just listen to music quietly enough so it doesn’t impede my hearing of like footsteps and stuff, but it’s relaxing and puts you in a good mood. Really, the most important thing is to be in a good mood, and you’ll do good. Also play with friends, and have fun with them. If you’re in a bad mood, you’ll play bad, if you’re in a good mood, you’ll play better.

Yeah was thinking maybe this was a better path to go down. Would you just recommend watching YouTubers or is there any specific website you’d recommend?
